Dangerous Storms Threaten Midwest

Destructive storms roared over the Dakotas, Nebraska and Kansas overnight and will continue edging eastward over the course of the day. Violent thunderstorms will pummel parts of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin, before threatening lives and property in areas farther south and east from Wisconsin and Illinois to Kansas tonight.
But I’m not afraid. I have an emergency radio and an hour’s worth of potable water in the basement. I’m ready.
