Modern and contemporary rhetoric and digital rhetoric, especially in educational settings; academic literacy; social software, web logs, wikis, hypertextual writing spaces for scholarly and creative writing; PLE and VLE.

Born 1953, Minneapolis., Minnesota, US. Married, 1979, St. Cloud, MN to Vivienne Morgan, MFA. UK residency since 1980. Living in Bemidji, Minnesota, since 1986. No children.

Courses Taught
Courses in electronic rhetoric, academic writing, web design and content writing; rhetorical theory and pedagogy for secondary education majors and graduate assistants; and first-year composition. Since 1990, all my writing courses have incorporated computer-mediated communication. Since 1995, all my writing courses have been computer-intensive and web supplemented. Since 2003, courses have been taught using wikis.
